Thomas Kuiper’s career journey began across the North Atlantic, where the Dutch national studied hospitality management at the highly acclaimed Hotelschool The Hauge in the Netherlands. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2010, Kuiper has held various positions in the hospitality industry, fostering an unmatched understanding of service and stewardship.

An experienced Four Seasons veteran, Kuiper has spent over six years with the luxury hotel company. Beginning at the Four Seasons Seychelles, he started as Manager in Training and was quickly promoted to Assistant Manager of In-Villa Dining, where he implemented an intensive training program that resulted in increased guest satisfaction and sales. In 2013, Kuiper relocated stateside to the Four Seasons Hotel Houston as the Assistant In-Room Dining and Banquet Manager, launching an award-winning amenity program for guests. By 2015, Kuiper accepted a promotion to head In-Room Dining Management at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, where he implemented operation software to add a layer of convenience for managing guest requests. Additionally, he led the opening and incorporated a wireless waiting program for the property’s Splash Pool Bar & Grill, a rooftop terrace overlooking the Baltimore Harbor and serving upscale drinks and light American fare.

In his current role as General Manager of Wit & Wisdom, an upscale American tavern by celebrity chef Michael Mina, Kuiper combines his Four Seasons standards and drive to create a world-class epicurean experience in the middle of Harbor East. A proven leader with international flair and careful consideration to detail, he leads a team of 55 employees who are dedicated to providing top-notch service along with maintaining a vast knowledge of product sourcing, menu details and culinary craft. His efforts extend beyond Wit & Wisdom’s walls into the community through special events and charitable initiatives.
